Despite being an essential item for the completion of the game, as well Hisui being covered in forests filled with large trees, the Wood item doesn’t come by too often in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
What is Wood Used For in Pokemon Legends Arceus?
Wood in Pokemon Legends: Arceus is needed for just about two things. That doesn’t take away from in significance though, as one of those things is a main mission, which you will need to complete in order to beat the game.
That mission is the Main Mission 26 “Seeking the Remaining Plates”. In this mission you will need 3 pieces of Wood, amongst other things, to finally obtain the Pixie Plate, which is again, an essential item that players need to get through the game.
The other use for Wood is an optional one. There is a Request that exists in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Request 18, named “Please! Make me a Pokeshi Doll!”. This Request is picked up from Anvin, the Materials and Recipe vendor in Jubilife Village.
Anvin wants to see a Pokeshi Doll that you have crafted with your own hands; and guess what, you need 3 pieces of Wood to craft this Pokeshi Doll. Interestingly enough, completing this quest rewards you with a Pokeshi Doll itself.
Where to Find Wood in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
In each of the five biomes, there exist a single location where you will consistently witness Wood spawning. These are not the only locations where Wood will spawn, but these are the best ones for farming Wood:
- Obsidian Fieldlands: Northeast of Deertrack Path. Turn left after crossing the bridge guarded by a Shinx past Aspiration Hill.
- Crimson Minelands: East of the midpoint between Brava Arena and Cloudpool Ridge.
- Cobalt Coastlands: On the beach of Castaway Shore, right on a cliff where the sand and the land start to converge.
- Coronet Highlands: North of Heavenward Lookout.
- Alabaster Icelands: East of Glacial Terrace.
