Pokémon GO was a smash hit when it first came out, breaking all sorts of concurrent player records for the Pokémon franchise all over the world!
As is with every Pokémon game, players are tasked with searching for Pokémon to capture and collect, using them to battle other Pokémon, be it against the AI or against other players. The difference with Pokémon GO is that it utilizes the player’s phone GPS to find and capture Pokémon!
The game has been expanding its roster since its humble release with the original 151 Pokémon all the way to modern times. Pokémon got so popular that the original roster kept expanding till we got to eight whole generations of Pokémon!
Today we will be talking about one of the Generation 6 releases, Delphox, and how it evolves in Pokémon GO!
Delphox
Delphox is a Fire/Psychic-type Pokémon from the Kalos region. First introduced in Generation 6’s games of Pokémon X and Y, Delphox evolves from these Pokemon:
- Fennekin evolves into Braixen
- Braixen evolves into Delphox
Here’s how to get Fennekin to finally become Delphox.

Evolving into Delphox
Fennekin is a starter Pokemon from Generation 6 and is also quite easy to acquire in Pokemon GO. It starts off as Fire-type but then eventually evolves into a Fire/Psychic-type.
Each evolution requires a certain amount of candies to evolve, just like any other Pokemon in Pokemon GO. Once the required candies are fed, Fennekin evolves into Braixen, which then evolves into Delphox.
These are the exact number of candies required to evolve them.
- Fennekin is fed 25 candies -> Evolves into Braixen
- Braixen is fed 100 candies -> Evolves into Delphox
Being a Fire/Psychic-type Pokemon, Delphox has quite a variety of moves as well.
- Scratch
- Zen Headbutt
- Fire Spin
- Flamethrower
- Flame Charge
- Fire Blast
- Psychic
Any combination of these moves ensures Delphox will be a strong Pokemon to have in any lineup as well.
