Pokémon Quest is a free-to-play action-adventure game in the Pokémon series developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. It was released for the Nintendo Switch in May 2018 and for Android and iOS in June 2018. Within a week of its release, it had reached over 7.5 million downloads.
With a cube-shaped art style, Pokémon Quest is unlike any other Pokémon game released before. The simple gameplay makes it easy to hop into expeditions and start exploring Tumblecube Island with the help of Pokémon buddies!
One of the fan-favorite Pokémon since the Kanto Region has been Pikachu. Anyone and everyone that has even remotely heard of Pokémon will know Pikachu because of how recognizable this cute little electric rodent is. It also makes a strong showing in Pokémon Quest.
Pikachu
Pikachu is a Generation 1 Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Red and Blue. It is an Electric-type Pokémon and has been popular since it was released. Being the star of the Pokémon anime alongside Ash Ketchum, the astounding popularity of this Pokémon cannot be denied.
In Pokémon Quest, Pikachu comes through as one of the most fun Pokémon to have. Acquiring one of them can be done using any of these two recipes:
- Yellow Curry a la Cube
- Watt a Risotto a la Cube
Any of these would work, but for the best success rate, we recommend going for the Watt a Risotto a la Cube using 2 Big Roots and 1 Honey.
Once Pikachu is acquired, the next thing to know is how to evolve it.
Pikachu Evolution
In Pokémon Quest, Pikachu does not need a Thunder Stone to evolve as it does in the mainline Pokémon games. In fact, all the player has to do here is to get Pikachu to level 22 and it will evolve into its next stage, Raichu.
Raichu is an Electric-type Pokémon and, although not considered as popular as Pikachu, it can very much hold its own in every right! Considerably stronger than Pikachu, Raichu can make a difference in any lineup the player chooses!
