Which game you start out with depends on how good you are at puzzles and your overall gaming experience. If you want to ease into the difficulty, go with Seasons first, as it is far less intense. Those who want to go for the hard mode should go for Ages instead. The biggest difference between them is that Seasons focuses more on combat while Ages focuses on tricky puzzles, so it’s all down to preference.

If you start with Ages first, you do get some added benefits like a sword upgrade and extra heart containers, so it might be worth doing that first. If it’s too hard for you though, definitely play Seasons first.
