While mostly a bug-free game, the Nintendo Switch version of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water does have a few issues that do impact the experience somewhat. Thankfully, Koei Temco hasn’t abandoned its horror game after launch, providing additional updates that address these issues.

The latest update, update 1.0.4, is now live worldwide. Here’s everything new that is included in it.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water

The Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water 1.0.4 update is a minor update, so it sadly doesn’t introduce new content or new features, focusing on fixing some of the issues that are still found in the game.

According to the official update notes shared by Koei Temco, the update fixes issues related to saving and loading save data as well as unspecified display issues.

As you can see, the Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water 1.0.4 update is a very light one, but if you have been experiencing issues while playing the game on Nintendo Switch, you will still be glad about its release. After all, you are supposed to fight otherworldly beings in the game, and not technical issues!
