During an earnings call last year, Bobby Kotick had talked about a Warcraft title for mobile and said that they were working on “multiple, mobile, free-to-play Warcraft experiences.” The developers have not revealed much information about the upcoming Warcraft mobile game but Blizzard is hard at work on “substantial new content for the Warcraft franchise in 2022,” including “all-new mobile Warcraft content.” It also means “new experiences in World of Warcraft and Hearthstone.”
As of writing this article, no release date for World of Warcraft Mobile has been shared but players can expect the game to come out sometime in 2022, considering there are no delays. No news about the development cycle of the game has been revealed either. Currently, the only Warcraft mobile is Hearthstone.
