Where is the Butter Cake in Fortnite? – Answered

Fortnite Chapter 3 keeps bringing new and exciting features to the game, and the latest addition is no exception! When the Boba Fett outfit was being released, its trailer teased the appearance of a cute, large-eyed dinosaur-like creature, codename “Butter Cake.” Players then waited anxiously for this new animal, wondering what it would be like and how it would affect gameplay. Butter Cake arrived in-game at the same time as Tilted Towers, on January 18, 2022. But how can you find this adorable being?

Where is Butter Cake?

Butter Cake is the nickname for the Klombo. These are giant dinosaur creatures that roam the Fortnite map, preferring to be near water sources. Because they love water, you can find them on the coast, near rivers, and by or in lakes on the map. They also spawn randomly, meaning they could show up almost anywhere! Below is a map marking where we at Touch Tap Play have discovered Klombo. Note that they can spawn anywhere near water, so try other locations too, such as Camp Cuddle and by the coast.

You will know when you are approaching Butter Cake because sweet music plays and you hear the creature grumble and huff. Klombos enjoy eating a new blue fruit that grows in Fortnite now, called Klomberries. These blue berries can be found on bushes and can be gathered by players for their own healing, or to feed to Butter Cake.
