Pokémon Legends: Arceus was released last month after much fanfare and hype. It is the latest installment in the Pokémon series and takes a much different turn than its predecessors do in terms of storytelling and game mechanics.
The game takes place in the ancient Hisui region, which would become modern-day Sinnoh. Fighting and capturing Pokémon is drastically different with battles taking place on the overworld instead of turn-based instance battles, as was the staple of the series thus far.
Alpha Pokémon were one of the newest additions to the game, and they have already been a great source of entertainment and challenge to a lot of players. Today, we answer questions about Alpha Happiny and its overworld location.
Alpha Happiny
Alpha Pokémon are stronger versions of their normal counterparts. Easily recognizable by their glowing red eyes, encountering one of these can be quite a challenge for unassuming newer players!
Happiny is a Pokémon that was introduced in Generation 4’s games of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. It is the pre-evolution of Chansey and Blissey, both of which are Pokémon coveted in their own rights. Happiny evolving into such useful Pokémon entices players into wanting to capture one.
Players won’t have to wait very long, because Happiny has an Alpha version in this game as well! Apart from being quite the challenge from a regular Happiny encounter, this cute little beast can be a great addition to the ranks of any player’s team!
Alpha Happiny Location
As is with any Alpha Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, there is only one location where it can be found.
Alpha Happiny dwells in the Obsidian Fieldlands. It sits on the top of a hill near Oreburrow Tunnel at a whopping Level 57! We recommend bringing a strong Pokémon for this fight. Using the Wyrdeer mount, the player can get to its location in no time!
