Where to Find Hunter Slimes

The Hunter Slime is one of the rare and dangerous types of slime, and also belongs to the feline-based slimes. These slimes are found in locations such as The Glass Desert and The Moss Blanket. However, they are difficult to find even when knowing where to look, as they have the special ability to become invisible.

There will be a subsection in The Moss Blanket with Hunter Largos constantly spawning. We recommend looking for them at this location. Here are a couple of tips on how to find invisible Hunter Slimes:

  • Sound—When they become invisible, they make a special characteristic sound that you need to listen to.
  • Shaders—Maybe it’s a bug, but when you set shader quality to low, Hunter Slimes don’t become completely invisible. Therefore, for the duration of the hunt, we recommend using low shader settings.

By the way, Hunter Largos will always be hungry and feral. Therefore, you need to constantly feed them, and soothe them with Taming Bell. Place the food far away from the paddock, as Hunter Slimes can sense where the food is at long distances.
