To have the best chance of collecting a decent amount of Obsidian, you have to go to the surface. Because of the nature of this map, it is impossible to explore surface during the day. The area’s boiling temperature makes it inhospitable for people to explore by day, but when the sun sets, the climate drops, making it finally reachable. Unfortunately, you aren’t the only one taking advantage of this. Dangerous creatures like the Reapers prowl the surface at night, so you’ll want to be as prepared as you possibly can.

How To Get To The Surface In Aberration

To leave the underground, you’ll need to have certain objects to be able to move up. You can use a ravager, a rock drake, climbing picks or zip lines for this.
