A new weapon has dropped in Fortnite Chapter 3: the Machine Pistol. This weapon was first introduced, apparently accidentally, back in February 2019 in an Unvaulted LTM. Usually in an Unvaulted mode, the game only has weapons that have previously been in Fortnite but had since been vaulted (taken out of the game). Players soon realized, however, that there was a new weapon they had never seen before—there is still some debate whether the introduction of the Machine Pistol in the LTM was accidental or not. It took almost a whole year to see it introduced to the main game, and finally players can find it while playing Solo/Duo/Squad Battle Royal, or Team Rumble.
All About the Machine Pistol in Fortnite Chapter 3
The Machine Pistol is pretty similar to the SMG as it has a fast fire rate and uses light bullets, but it has different stats, and just like the SMG, it is great for players who like their battles up close and personal. The Machine Pistol stats are as follows:

It can be found in places any other weapon can be found, such as on, in, or outside buildings.
It can also be found inside regular or rare chests, with a greater chance of getting a rare or better Machine Pistol inside a rare chest:
Machine Pistols can also be found near water by fishing them out of fishing spots, or by killing a Loot Shark.
There is also a chance of getting a Machine Pistol in a Supply Drop, which fall to the island in random places.
