Water Stones are evolution items that you can use to evolve certain species of Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Finding the Water Stones in the game is rather daunting as they spawn at random locations and are a rare drop. In the wake of that, many players want to learn where to get Water Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet – a more consistent method to get the Stones to make sure players are ready to evolve their Pokémon.
Where to Get Water Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
You can get Water Stones for 3,000 Pokédollars from the Delibird Presents shop, denoted by the Shopping Bag icon found in almost every major city. However, the Water Stones are not purchasable from the get-go; to unlock them, you must get three Gym Badges.
We recommend you defeat the Dark-type Star Leader and unlock the path to Mesagoza, one of the major cities where you can visit the Delibird Presents and buy the Water Stones in exchange for Pokédollars.
Keep this in mind! The Delibird Presents shop is available in other cities, too, like Levincia and Cascarrafa. So, if you are stopping by any of these cities and have a few Pokédollars to spend, you can visit the respective shop and purchase the Water Stone.
In the open world, you can find Water Stone behind the Cascarrafa gym. Here is a map screenshot that shares the exact location of the Water Stone, in case you need it immediately.
That said, either purchase the Water Stones from the said Shops or keep an eye out while exploring Paldea to obtain Water Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are currently available on the Nintendo Switch platform.
