Fire Emblem Heroes is a celebration of the Fire Emblem series as a whole, and, as such, features a lot of different characters from the many entries in the series released so far.
Given how big the Fire Emblem series is, and how many characters have appeared in it at least once, it is not easy for the developers of Fire Emblem Heroes to keep all series’ fans happy by introducing everyone’s favorite character. Many fan-favorite characters still have to make their debut in the mobile game, and sadly some likely never will.
Among the characters that have yet to join the Fire Emblem Heroes roster is Boyd. Here’s everything you need to know about the character.
Who is Boyd in Fire Emblem Heroes?
As already mentioned, Boyd is among the characters that have yet to make their debut in Fire Emblem Heroes. He is one of the choices available in the Choose Your Legends ballot, so if enough votes are cast for him, he could eventually become available in the mobile game.
Boyd was among the playable characters of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and its direct sequel, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. One of the members of the Greil Mercenaries originally led by Greil before its death, and then by Deputy Commander Titania and by Greil’s son Ike, Boyd joined the band of warriors to support his younger half-brother Rolf and fight together with his older brother Oscar.
In both Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, Boyd is an extremely solid frontline unit that can deal tons of damage with his superior strength. If he makes his way into Fire Emblem Heroes, we should expect him to be just as strong as he is in the previous entries in the series. Will this eventually happen? Only time will tell.
