Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes will see the return of many of the characters we have come to love in Fire Emblem Three Houses, but the new entry in the series will not just stop at bringing back everyone’s favorites from the previous game, as it will also feature a brand new protagonist.

Who is the Hero in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

The second Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes trailer confirmed that the new hero will be called Shez. This solitary mercenary sought to become a famous warrior, but their hopes have been dashed by a fateful encounter with Jeralt’s Mercenaries and the Ashen Demon Byleth, who soundly defeated Shez. While training to get revenge against Byleth, Shez will get to meet the Officer’s Academy students, moving the first step in a journey that promises to be epic.

While the trailer did show some glimpses of how Shez will fight in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, very little is known about the hero’s fighting style. What we do know is that it will be possible to change Shez’s gender, as the game will feature both male and female versions of the characters, as opposed to the original Fire Emblem Warriors, where main characters Rowan and Lianna were two separate characters with no gender options.
