Will original Harry Potter characters be in Hogwarts Legacy?

As obvious from its name, Hogwarts Legacy takes aspiring wizards and witches to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Sadly, fans won’t be able to find main Harry Potter characters like Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley in Hogwarts Legacy.

According to the official website, Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1800s, which means we won’t be seeing the beloved characters from the Harry Potter series. It has been clearly stated that the story of Hogwarts Legacy takes place “before the time period of J.K. Rowling’s original stories.”

Even without the iconic characters, Hogwarts Legacy stays true to the magical world created by J.K. Rowling. The game is set in a different era, but players can still experience the familiar world of Harry Potter in a new setting.
