However, a datamine courtesy of Twitter user ‘Wipeoutjack7′ has revealed that the game’s code mentions another 10 different characters that might be making their way to the Mario Strikers Battle League roster.

Considering the fact that the game will be launching with 10 playable characters, it’s a possibility that this number could be doubled through post-launch content updates. And, when you look at the plethora of Mario characters we’ve seen in other sports titles, Nintendo has quite a few options to choose from.

Mario Strikers Battle League is set to release exclusively on Nintendo Switch consoles on June 10, 2022. The game remains one of the most anticipated titles coming to Nintendo Switch this year and we just might be getting more DLC characters than we thought.
