Wiz Khalifa’s Weed Farm Cheats: Tips & Strategy Guide to Keep ’em Growing

Since weed growing games are proving to be so popular on mobile nowadays, it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that Wiz Khalifa himself tries to rake in the pot (no pun intended!) As a result, we have Wiz Khalifa’s Weed Farm which is a pretty straightforward game that challenges you to grow marijuana – for medical purposes, obviously – and not much else. Automating production is vital
Having to tap your “crops” each time they’re ready to collect is a real pain and won’t get you anywhere. Fortunately, you will unlock upgrades that give you the chance to automate production. This means that the money will keep piling up with no upper limit and you can return later to collect it all. Make sure that you have this for all the plots you have unlocked in order to make it a lot easier for you to progress through the game.

Water the plants
Watering the plants increases the profit they generate and it’s equally expensive. Do it often as you need higher profits to get access to the upgrades and especially the automating ones. Have in mind that reaching certain milestones reduces the production time by 50%, so focus on reaching those milestones first with the cheapest plot, then work your way up until you get as high as possible (again, no pun intended).

If you find it difficult to tap the screen to buy tens of upgrades, tap and hold – this is a real time saver!

Tap the drone
Every now and then, a drone will appear on the screen: make sure you tap it as many times as possible before it goes away and you will earn some nice amounts of free coins!

Harvest the Buds
When you see a huge hummer coming close to your farm, you know you have the option to Harvest the Buds and basically reset the game. The harvesting process increases your Cash Stockpile (not regular coins) which offer increased profits for each plot. So starting over is extremely important in Wiz Khalifa’s Weed Farm as you get to make a lot more money faster and get farther in the game.

The Hummer always appears when you unlock the 6th plot and you normally have to wait for 24 hours between resets.

Have in mind, though that you shouldn’t always hurry to reset the game. You have the option to watch an ad in order to instantly reset the game instead of waiting for the time to pass, but it might not always be the best option. I am not sure if this is a bug or this is how the game is intended to play, but every reset also resets the bonuses you have purchased with cash. This means that you will always have to purchase them when the game starts. So take the costs of getting where you were into account when resetting. Also make sure to purchase these upgrades as soon as the game starts!

In other words, if you reset and get 12k cash, know that you will spend most of it on getting the first 4 upgrades and you’ll be left with little extra afterwards. Your next reset should, therefore, happen when you will get at least 14k cash, but I suggest going for double with each new reset (so reset at 1k the first time, 2k the second, 4k the third and so on).

Time lapse cheat
Since this game has a waiting block that’s higher than in other games, you can try using the so-called time lapse cheat. This means that you should force quit the game, go to your device’s settings and set the time 2-4 hours (or more) ahead. Get back to the game and you’ll have a ton of profit to collect. This cheat hasn’t been tested extensively, so it might not work or might actually break your game – so use only if you really want to risk it.

Light up!
This is a feature that you’re not told about in the tutorial and it’s difficult to spot. But if you look in the upper-middle part of the screen, you will see a thing that looks like an UV lamp. Tap it and you have the option to watch an ad, which will double your profits for the next 4 hours. Make sure to take advantage of this as often as possible as it will help you progress through the game a lot faster.

There is also the option to watch an ad and get a profit increase by tapping the stage on the right, but honestly I didn’t really manage to see how that works and why you should go for the 20 seconds increase in profits when you can get the full 4 hours from the lights above.

Log in often
Logging in often throughout the game is extremely important if you want to speed up your progress. This is how the short gamplay sessions should look like: log in to the game, collect all the revenue that your crops have produced, buy any coin upgrades that are available then water the plants until you run out of money, trying to reach the next production milestone (at level 25, 50, 100 and so on) then quit the game. Get back later, rinse and repeat.

Growing weed certainly sounds more fun than it actually is in Wiz Khalifa’s Weed Farm, but I am sure that many people can still have fun playing the game, especially since it doesn’t require a ton of actual gameplay time invested in it. Just log in often, do all that you can and come back later. That’s the perfect 5 minute break game in my opinion!
