How to Easily Find Gold Bars at Lazy Lagoon in Fortnite

Another week of challenges has landed in Fortnite. Week 12 challenges bring players quests to get headshots, tame wildlife, and find Gold Bars at one of the latest locations to evolve: Lazy Lagoon. Finding Gold Bars is not difficult but to earn lots in one space is tricky, especially at Lazy Lagoon! How can we achieve this goal quickly? Get Gold Bars Easily at Lazy Lagoon

Gold Bars are an in-game currency players can use to purchase items from Vending Machines or NPCS, or to upgrade weapons at upgrade benches. They are usually found by opening cash registers, in chests, in supply drops, destroying sofas or beds, or in safes.

Getting Gold Bars from a safe would be the ideal way to go, however the spawn points of these safes are completely random so we cannot rely on opening them to gain the gold we need for this challenge. There are also not many sofas or beds to destroy, nor any cash registers to find gold in- so how do we achieve this weekly challenge?

Players can start by opening every chest they come across and picking up the Gold Bars found inside. Around 7 Gold Bars are dropped from each chest so this method may take a while. So what else?

Players need to gain 100 Gold Bars at Lazy Lagoon to complete this task, so the next thing to do is to go to the Versus Battle Board at Lazy Lagoon. You will receive 75 Gold Bars for completing a Versus Battle which is 3/4 of the Gold Bars you need to do the challenge!

Just wait at Lazy Lagoon until the opponent comes to you and you eliminate them, or wait until they are eliminated by another player- either way you will win the gold! This way you will only have 25 Gold Bars left to get which can be found in chests and by eliminating players you find.
