Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4’s Halloween event Fortnitemares has brought some exciting changes and fun features. There are new zombie-filled locations to visit, new NPCs to meet and bosses to fight, and exclusive free cosmetics. One of the upcoming free cosmetic bundles available for players is the Chrome Punk. How to Get Fortnite’s Chrome Punk Skin for Free
Chrome Punk arrived in Fortnite as an NPC during the Fortnitemares 2022 update. The shiny pumpkin man can be found at Flutter Barn selling Pumpkin Launchers and candy. Data miners discovered that a Chrome Punk skin seemed to be coming soon too.
Other new skins have arrived with Fortnitemares including Ash Williams from the Evil Dead, and Summer and Mr Meeseeks from Rick and Morty. Ash can also be found as an NPC at a location west of Reality Tree.

According to iFireMonkey on Twitter, the Chrome Punk skin, along with back-bling and loading screen, are going to be rewards for completing quests during Fortnitemares. Players will have to level up their accounts to eventually unlock the Chrome Punk skin.
To earn the Chrome Punk skin for free, players must complete each of the Chrome Punk Quests:
- Earn 10 Account Levels to unlock the Chrome Seed Back Bling reward
- Earn 25 Account Levels to unlock the Graveyard Rave Loading Screen reward
- Earn 50 Account Levels to unlock the Chrome Punk Skin reward
It is important to note that the Account Level differs from the XP Level. The Account Level is your combined number of levels you have gained over your time playing Fortnite. You can check your Account Level by visiting the Career tab in Fortnite. the Account Level can be increased by levelling up with XP as normal, plus by earning badges which can also be found in the career section.
