On July 29, 2022, HoYoverse shared the Sumeru Preview Teaser 3 Prelude to Wisdom on Genshin Impact’s official YouTube channel that officially revealed and talked about the leaked characters like Alhaitham, Nahida, Nilou, Cyno, and others.

While we already know about every character arriving with Genshin Impact 3.0 and 3.1 updates, HoYoverse revealing them with the new teaser unintentionally—or maybe intentionally confirms the leaks we got so far.
In the Prelude to Wisdom trailer, we learn that when you arrive at Sumeru—you meet Alhaitham by chance at the Port Ormos location. Alhaitham is from Haravatat in the Sumeru Akademiya.

When we looked at the meaning of Haravatat, we found it refers to the person who researches the ruins. It also means wholeness or perfection. When you look at Alhaitham, you will agree.
The trailer also mentions that the Traveler will cross their paths with the mysterious girl named Nahida. Well! We don’t think Nahida is that much mysterious anymore—she is the Dendro archon – Lesser God Kusanali. She is a five-star playable character, expected to release after the 3.1 update.
The General Mahamatra, Cyno. Yes! We finally have somthing on Cyno. The trailer confirms that the Traveler will come across Cyno and many other characters. If you didn’t know, during the early leaks, Cyno was revealed as a four-star Electro element user who wields a Polearm.

However, the recent leaks suggest Cyno to be a five-star playable character with the Electro vision. In the Prelude to Wisdom trailer, there’s a shot where you can see Cyno’s back with the Electro vision.
