XF: Football Arena is the latest installment of sports games from 9M Interactive that is currently open for early access gameplay. The game is a 3v3 soccer game that takes heavy inspiration from Extreme Football, another street-like soccer game that was developed by 9M Interactive.
Despite their similarities, XF: Football seems to offer new and improved game graphics and visuals compared to Extreme Football, which gives the game a cyberpunk feel when playing a match. It also offers a real-time 3v3 PvP experience and fast-paced gameplay that lets you finish a match in 3 minutes.
XF: Football Arena Gameplay
Offering fast-paced gameplay, each match has the first and second half set up like a normal football game. In this game, however, each half has a two-minute duration. There are lots of diverse characters to choose from and in the early access, the best player is a woman, which is a refreshing addition to the gameplay.
Although it’s 3v3, you can only control a single player while your other two teammates are AI-controlled. The game also allows the use of skills and boosters to increase your character’s performance in a match.
A major difference that makes this game stand out is the graphics and animations. It betters the previous releases from 9M Interactive in that aspect, and if this is what the graphics look like in early access, we can’t wait to see if they’ll be improved when the game launches fully.
Release Date and Availability
XF: Football Arena is still under development and some of its features are currently inaccessible, which means you can’t play online with other players in real-time just yet, and you may experience a couple of bugs here and there. 9M Interactive has promised to add new features and improve stability at full launch.
There is currently no confirmed date for the full launch, but while you wait, you can head to the Google Play Store right now and grab the early access version. Tell the developers what you think afterward by leaving a review.
